About
Nova Star is a Naarm (Melbourne) based textile designer specialising in contemporary knitwear, experimental woven textiles, and handcrafted accessories. Her practice explores themes of empowerment, identity, and community through the use of found and recycled materials. She holds a Bachelor of Textile Design from RMIT University, following a year-long exchange at the Swedish School of Textiles. Nova Star's work bridges fashion and installation.
